10. Farah would be driving around.

If Farah has things her way.
If ever Farah has things her way:
10. Farah would be driving around.
10. Farah would be driving around.
9. Farah would have her own room for herself.
8. Farah would be speaking Mandarin as a third language.
7. Farah would have a well organised photo album.
6. Farah would buy that Bradley passport holder she saw in Singapore.
5. Farah would know the lyrics of all Michael Buble's songs by heart.
4. Farah would finally learn to eat her tomatoes.
3. Farah would have a brand new shelf at the foot of her bed.
2. Farah would have more control over her turbulent mood swings.
.
but most importantly,
.
Farah would have different people call her up every night to wish her goodnight.
why wait for only one person, right?

A Day in The Sun. Introduction.
Team Players:
Varshana Rajasekaran
Noradina Pikri
Farah Raihanah
.
.
Earlier on Monday, we bravely took on KL single handedly. Oh yes, just us three girls and our "amazing" knowledge on the whereabouts of this city. After a week of deliberation a week in advance of what Varsh and I fondly call our "open discussions", it was decided that Lake Gardens is the place to be at.
.
.
For a change, it would be nice to be sightseeing instead of the usual hangouts in malls and lunches in restaurants we would normally opt for. And so, on the day itself, we made our way to the Butterfly Farm, Bird Park and Orchid Gardens.
.
.
ps,
I am sooo sorry my posts are not in chronological order.
A Day In The Sun. Part 3.
Third Stop. Orchid Gardens.
When the shades are out, you know you're taking on KL celebrity style.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Never in my life have I seen a hibiscus that awesomely gigantic.
Adina as an amazing Bonzer, this time protecting Varsh from a big lizard scurrying about.
Final Stop. KLCC.
Exhausted girls.
..
.
.
.
The two amazing companions I can ever ask for on a Monday morning.
A Day In The Sun. Part 2.
Second Stop. Bird Park.
And that's how you pose with a peacock above you.
Between parrots and flamingos. Where to now?
Adina and I found a new best friend.
My gangster friends yo. :)
When smiles can't get any wider.
A Day In The Sun. Part 1.
First Destination. Butterfly Farm.
.
Varsh and Adina.
Farah Raihanah.
Varsh and Adina found their mini-mes. :)
Haha. What are the chances that the butterflies will flutter right into our hands?
5 years
We had fun didn't we?
Just like old times.
We laugh, we crack up, we talk for 3 hours staight.
We share, we listen, we cry.
We bond.
After 5 years, we are still the same girls we were back then.
Just like old times.
We laugh, we crack up, we talk for 3 hours staight.
We share, we listen, we cry.
We bond.
After 5 years, we are still the same girls we were back then.

Once upon a time.
Once upon a time, in Subang Jaya, there lived three little girls. One day, Pey-ah was sitting quietly in the corner of her room. Such a sweet, innocent little child. An obvious contrast to her two sisters.
You see, Seem-ah and Myn-ah were in the middle of a heated discussion. The situation was quickly spinning out of control and hence, darling Pey-ah thought she should be of some use to act as a moderator between the two.
She bravely stepped in between those two, and tried her best to calm them down. It was to no avail. Little did precious little Pey-ah know that she was fighting a losing battle. Myn-ah cruelly only laughed in her face and feisty Seem-ah, poked her in the eye. Accidentally of course, but still!
Sheesh. Sisters these days. I am never, ever, in my entire life again gonna mess in with your pointless, dangerous, fights.

My new love.
Yesterday, my aunt and cousin brought my sister and I out to Bangsar.
Yesterday, I was introduced to an amazing creation.
Yesterday, I found my new love.
A craving.
Yesterday, I was introduced to an amazing creation.
Yesterday, I found my new love.
A craving.

Meet the delicious, mouth watering, scrumptious Pavlova from Alexis. Long ago, I used to have the same fetish for the Daim cake from Ikea. Anyone get me a slice of this, I promise I'll smother you with hugs and kisses.

Especially for the two of you.
Ahem ahem. *Clears throat. Ladies and gentlemen, all those who are actually willing to read this post,
I have an announcement to make.
I have an announcement to make.
I. HAVE. THE. BEST. SISTERS. IN. THE. ENTIRE. WORLD.
.
.
What my sisters and I have, ladies and gentlemen, is indescribable and beyond words itself. Thus, I shall not bother to think nor mull about for the right words to describe the bond I share with these two amazing people.
.
.
For those of you who have not the chance, privilege actually, to meet my two most loyal companions, by the end of this post, you can either say, Daym, I would definitely want to, or Thank God I don't have to.
It's solely your choice.
Ladies and gentlemen,
We begin with the plus sides. The big ticks and stars at the end of the page those teachers in kindergarten usually give earned by my two sisters has to be their hearts of gold. *Cue for audience to go Awwww.
.
.
I admit it. Maybe, possibly, once or twice, I have in the recent past, complained, whined and made a big fuss of suffering from middle child syndrome. I take it all back. My sisters are fair and just, we share everything equally. Heck, even a mere extra 20 bucks from our father is agreed on to be split evenly between the three of us.
.
.
As of now, my days at home is a huge difference compared to when it was only a few weeks ago. The house is louder, messier, more alive in every way possible. Why, you may ask? The trio has reunited.
.
.
Being the eldest in the family, Liyana has, to a certain extent, a fair degree of responsibility. Yes, she is a constant, annoying voice in my head that cannot be shut out, (literally is THE ONLY voice in my head right now. Keep quiet Liyana, *she's still talking non stop beside me now*, I'm trying to concentrate here) but that voice keeps me very much rooted to who I truly am. You see, we are both very very very, extremely close. With an age gap of only one year, I practically grew up under her watchful eyes my entire life.
.
.
Noone knows me better than she does. My tempers, mood swings, disappointments, successes, all those ups and downs, Liyana knows them all. I talk to her endlessly. Sometimes, no, correction. Most of the time, she doesn't quite listen to me, but having someone around that I feel I can pour my heart out to, is more than I can ask for. Even if it feels as though I'm talking to the walls. So, my dear sister, do expect more of me sitting cross legged on your bed for the next few months.
.
.
Now that she's back home, she is my very own self proclaimed driver. However, things operate differently when it comes to her. Unlike most other sisters, my sister is an unconventional sort of sister. My sister does not bring me out whenever I want to, wherever I want to, to meet whoever I want to. No. As protective as she is, I know she will only send me out and pick me up back at rigid times, curfews people, discipline yourself! She will only send me to familiar places, safe places she means to say, and she definitely has a say in who I can or cannot meet. If she thinks that person is a bad influence, I'm practically handcuffed and tied at home. Honestly saying, she probably thinks she's my guardian angel.
.
.
Now, we turn to the youngest of us three, that small, little girl who will never grow up in our eyes. A precious treasure to us all. This particular girl, ladies and gentlemen, you should not take at face value. Oh no. What you see is NOT what you get. You get a whole lot more.
.
.
At first glance, many see Mimi as a shy and a reserved person. In a way, maybe she is. But then again, have you seen her at home or in school itself? I thought not. This two places are where Mimi shines at her brightest. When she chooses to, she has the highest level of energy, higher even than mine and Liyana's both combined together.
.
.
Having said that, as unbelievable as it may sound, I realise the need to provide evidence to support the statement above. A typical day in the three Farahs household is usually fueled by none other than my youngest sister's wide smiles and addictive laughters. There isn't a day that goes by without us three cracking up over her nonsensical jokes, crazy impersonations and smart gimmicks.
.
.
However, what I love most about my younger sister is our unspoken understanding for each other. One fateful day a few years ago, we were in the car on the way home when she dubbed herself an Ainacologist. She knows me that well. By only the curl of my lips, Mimi can instantly tell my mood and the thoughts running in my head. "Aina. That's your insulting smile." 99.9% of the time, she is spot on correct.
.
.
Thus, ladies and gentlemen, those are only a pinch of the many highlight traits my sisters have. The list goes on forever, so I can't possibly mention them all here. Now, however, the time has come for me to share part of the craziness I am forced to live with as these two girls and I are living under the same roof.
.
.
Liyana is a bossy girl. Even she admits it herself. Due to the fact that I am younger, she expects me to give in to her, and most of the time, yes, I think I do. There is no point quarrelling unnecessarily. As I am typing this out, my darling elder sister has just shooed me out of MY VERY OWN chair because she wants to sit on it. Hence, I am now typing away hunched over on the bed. Point taken?
.
.
Mimi, on the other hand, is indeed a colourful character. When it comes to her, somehow, I have the lowest level of tolerance for. I know she knows she drives me up the wall, but do you think she stops? Oh no. Definitely not. Just a few days ago, Liyana came back from UK with a violin. Mimi is now obsessed with it. Currently, under Liyana's encouragement, she plays on it continuously. Let me stress on this. Mimi does not know how to play the violin! And so, these days, I have no choice but to leave the room each time the second adik picks up that horrifying instrument. Imagine that. I am being kicked out of my own room.
.
.
Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, you have now been exposed only partially to the life I live with my sisters. Despite the fights we have, the tantrums we throw, the sulky faces we put on, the misunderstandings we endure, a day with the two of them around is far far far better than a hundred days with any other people I can think of. All I can say, is
.
.
I cannot imagine anyone else in their places and how absolutely, exceptionally important they are to me.
.
.
Happy now, liyana and mimi?
you asked for it. :)

That will be me.
"So. What exactly am I supposed to call you?"
I get that question all the time.
Different people know me by different names, and so, when two or more separate entities clash, they get completely confused.
Name: Farah Raihanah.
Subang people call me Farah. Especially my fellow Chinese friends. Teachers, for some unknown reason, usually end up calling me Raihanah instead.
Most Commonly known as: Aina.
Family members and close friends call me Aina. Approximately 90% of the time, I introduce myself as Aina.
Recently known as: Rey.
Reserved only for college people.
Also known as:
KakRai- Courtesy of my teacher back in primary school. Never ever again.
FarahR- Courtesy of a girlfriend who confuses me with the many different Farahs in school.
Ainaee- Courtesy of a close friend when I used to purposely spell his name to end with an eee. :)
Farah Ribena- Courtesy of a boy way way way back in Secondary School. Thank God those days are over.
Farrawr- Courtesy of he who is now far across the seas.
Farah Zeta- Courtesy of Secondary School 2006/2007 where there were possibly 4 or more Farahs in my batch itself.
Ains Fains Glains- Courtesy of my elder sister and her unique talent for you'll-never-ever-think-of,-mind-blowing names.
Ainsee- Courtesy of my younger sister and her if-liyana-can-give-you-a-name-so-can-I attitude.
Raihanah Aziz- Courtesy of Hasy Manoharan and our obsession for formal addresses to each other.
Arumugam Mahosapinandan- Courtesy of Harry B in our first semester in college. Suka-suka je bagi orang nama. Dah la Aina punya yang paling pelik. Haha.
Ainakins- Courtesy of Adina and her moment of epiphany.
Farahni- Courtesy of Varsh and her amazingness personified.
Falah Laihanah Wants Flied Lice- Also courtesy of Varsh when I used to order the college cafe's fried rice because I didn't like going to the Dining Hall.
WeyWey- Courtesy of Sabrina and her craziness. :) The name has a ring to it, no?
Conclusion: Be it Farah, Raihanah, Aina or Rey. Take your pick, because I'll answer to any of it.
ps,
Okay, Hannah? Haha. I hope this post satisfies you.
You can now officially STOP teasing me.

Varsh's Promise.
I'm talking to her on the phone right now.
Varsh agrees this should be posted here.
She'll get me a lighter.
A first blue then will turn to green flame kind of lighter.
With the word Russia engraved at the front.
And an emblem of an eagle at the back.
Good luck looking for it Varsh.
My original one is irreplaceable.

Gender Stereotyping.
See if you agree with me on this.
It's just one boy, but still.
Aina calls Arif.
Aina: hello?
Arif: hey you.
Reception was horrible.
Aina: Arif? Can you hear me?
Arif: Yes Aina.
Aina: Okay. Free now?
Arif: Yes Aina.
Aina: Are you sure? *sceptical tone*
Arif: Yes Aina.
Aina: Alright. So, I'm guessing you know my situation right now.
Arif: Yes Aina.
Aina: Will you help me?
Arif: Yes Aina.
Aina: Arif! Really. I'm not kidding.
Arif: Yeah. I know.
Aina: Okay. Fine. You're sure you're free right now?
Arif: Yes Aina.
Pause.
Aina: Liar. You're not free.
Arif: Yes, Huh? No. Of course I am.
Aina: *sighs. You're playing on your Xbox now aren't you?
Arif: Haha. Yes, I am, Aina.
Aina: I thought so. Call me when you're done.
Aina hangs up.
Sheesh. One word.
Boys.

Computer Illiterate.
Haha. I just only realised that I changed my template and forgotten to resize it.
Blonde moments of Raihanah.
I desperately need a computer savvy friend.

Still there.
A purple flower fell to the ground. The lake near my house.
It's been ages since I last went there.
The flowers are in full bloom, my timing was perfect. The ripples of the water. Serene. Only a handful of residents are in sight. It's still too early. More will come later.
The trail.
Looked at the trees bordering the lake and smiled. It has to still be there. I counted my steps. She said 30. He told me 24. I told him he has big feet. :) I took 25 steps. On my right, a train passed by.
On my left, carved on the bark of that tree, our initials. I laughed silently.
Faded, but still there.
Some things just don't go away.
